It's been a rough 2021. We woke up New Year's Day to water backed up in our shower and gushing sewer in the basement. This unfortunately was only the beginning. We spent the next 5 days between my parent's and grandma's house showering and doing laundry.
5 days without your own toilet will teach you a few things.
When you think things are bad they can always, always get worse
Having a working toilet might be the most underrated joy of everyone's lives
When things are rough you find joy where you can
I found my joy this week in my first package delivery to my new home!
So the burning question is What's in the box??
Well if you can't tell from the box it's FRAGILE. So without further adieu let's unbox it....
What are you looking at you ask? Vintage Pyrex Casserole Dishes and a Vintage Syrup Container.
Why does this bring me joy? Honestly... I'm not sure. BUT IT REALLY REALLY DOES.
Maybe it's the floral print, the colors, or the overall vintage vibe. But I absolutely love it!
So what is Pyrex?
Pyrex- A hard heat-resistant type glass usually used for ovenware
The prints I'm on the hunt for
Butterfly Gold
Crazy Daisy or Spring Blossom
Pink Daisy
Gooseberry
Snowflake
Floral Bubbles
Medallion
Eventually we will completely remodel the dining room but until then I will find my joy in this built in.
Show me your Pyrex! Do you have unique pyrex of your own? I would love to see it!!
